The deal with Saban Brands will add to the streaming video service’s children’s programming lineup.

LONDON – Amazon.com’s streaming video service LoveFilm, which in the U.K. competes with Netflix, on Thursday unveiled a deal with Haim Saban‘s Saban Brands to bring 20 years worth of episodes of hit TV show franchise Power Rangers to its subscribers.

Financial details weren’t disclosed.

The Power Rangers franchise first aired in 1993 under the title Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers and is this year celebrating its 20th anniversary.

The Saban content deal, which also includes the live-action Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation, is LoveFilm’s latest children’s programming agreement. The company has recently struck arrangements with Disney’s Marvel, Aardman and DHX Media.

Netflix U.K. has also been offering Power Rangers series.

“We already have a fantastic range of kids content on offer for our younger TV and film fans. Power Rangers – celebrating 20 years this year – has a huge global following and is popular across the generations," said Chris Bird, director, film strategy at LoveFilm. "This deal with Saban Brands will bring the series to a whole new audience of children and will also ensure that grown-ups can catch up and reminisce on their favorite episodes instantly.”
