Lady Gaga plans to recover from hip surgery in style. The pop singer will rest on a 24-karat-gold-plated chair with a black leather cushioned seat designed by Ken Borochov of luxury jewelry brand Mordekai. The designer has previously made a wearable cage, crown and set of armor nails for the Mother Monster, which has become Gaga’s signature Claw. (NYMag)

In addition to acting and leading her online lifestyle publication Goop,’s Gwyneth Paltrow is once again joining the beauty industry by launching her second nail polish collaboration with non-toxic nail brand Butter London. The collection features three sets in different palettes of nudes, pastels and jewel-tones. Prices range from $28 to $40. (Refinery29)
